Wickbound saves after every single action, so force-quitting mid-combat is safe: reopen the app and you will be exactly where you left off. A run only ends when you die or abandon it from the menu. Deaths are permanent by design — that is the genre.
Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchase. The unlock is tied to your Apple ID, so it restores on any device signed in to the same account at no extra charge. If it still does not appear, make sure you are signed in with the Apple ID you bought it with.
Win a run with The Keeper. The Salvager unlocks automatically the first time you beat the Mother of Storms.
Each character has its own ladder from 0 to 5. Winning at your current highest Ascension unlocks the next rung for that character. Higher rungs add enemy health and damage, and trim your starting gold and health.
One seeded run per day, identical for every player worldwide, with a single attempt. It resets at midnight UTC and posts your score to a Game Center leaderboard. Requires the full game.
No. Everything except Game Center leaderboards and the one-time purchase works entirely offline, including your whole run.
Ascension 0 is the gentlest setting — it is the default for a new character, and you never have to climb the ladder if you do not want to.
Music and sound can each be turned off in Settings. If audio behaves oddly after a call or an alarm, background the app and reopen it.
Please email support@wickbound.com with what happened and what you expected. If you can, include your iOS version and iPhone model — it makes the difference between a fix this week and a fix eventually.

Including your app version, iPhone model, and iOS version helps enormously. The app version is at the bottom of the in-game Settings screen.
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple, so refunds go through them rather than us. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase.
